Since I’ve recently become very involved in the eyeshadow process, meaning that I’m really just trying to actually learn how to properly apply and use them without looking like a child, I’ve realized that my eyelids get really greasy throughout the day and my makeup ends up barely existing on my eyes no later than 2pm. So, that ruins the fun. I realized that a couple months back while doing a regular Target beauty sweep, I picked up this e.l.f. eyelid primer because it was $1. Yah, one dollar. I started using it when doing my making for two different this past weekend and it works SO well! It absolutely kept my makeup on until I went to remove it when washing my face at the end of the day.
I’m positive there are way higher quality eyelid primers, but if you’re in the market to test one out, there’s absolutely no reason you wouldn’t like this.
tip: apply evenly over eyelid and then put a light layer of your face powder on top to set it, then apply your eyeshadows.
p.s. I know that it sounds like I work for e.l.f. and I 100% do not, I just love how easy they are to commit to while I learn even more about technique and what looks good on me and what doesn’t. I mean, what’s more fun than always having new, affordable makeup?
