Have you seen this trend for Spring popping up in your magazines and around the internet? Something about it is so cute to me. I’m working on growing up my style into something more professional and refined, and I think that the short suit is perfect. I was in H&M yesterday and they have tons of adorable shorts and affordable blazers that aren’t the same pattern, but would make up this short suit look perfectly. Yes, I might be a late adapter on this color as it was wildly popular last Fall, but I don’t care because this color is still really doing something for me. I want it in my makeup, in my jewelry, in my purses… I want it everywhere! I mean ideally I’d have enough of this color to completely wear it head to toe today and shine bright like a diamond, but since I do not, I will just wear it in my makeup. What do you think of this color? Doesn’t it just do something for you?

Our stunning first lady, Mrs. Obama, wore a red Jason Wu to the inaugural ball last night, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. She’s a long time fan of designer Jason Wu, she even wore him to Mr. Obama’s first inaugural ball. And red certainly is the color of the moment judging based off the recent golden globe dresses. I think she has never looked better, personally. Those arms, THOSE BANGS and her makeup looks perfect. But tell me, do you like it? Would you have rather she wore something more subtle?
