I’m obsessed with hair. Your hair, her hair, my hair- doesn’t matter, I just love strong, healthy, beautiful hair. One time, my junior year in highschool, I had long, flowing hair that I chopped off in an impulse decision to look more like Ashlee Simpson circa 2004 (point of reference here). It worked, I did resemble her slightly punk, slightly pretty look, but I could never ever get my hair to grow back. It would grow, start to break off dramatically right after my shoulders and I’d have to cut it again. I’ve lived in medium length hair purgatory for 7 years, paying back my sins for wanting an Ashlee Simpson mullet haircut, and it has not been fun. Until now, I’ve given up on ever having healthy, long hair again. But, my hair grew 3 inches in 4 months and I think you should know the products that made this possible. My hair has SHOT out of my head in the past three months and it is the healthiest it’s been since High School and I fully attribute that to this line.
I mentioned a while ago that I started using the it’s a 10 miracle leave-in per the suggestion of a master stylist here in New York, but I’ve since seen such dramatic changes in my hair that I knew I needed to share the whole line with you. Every time that I wash my hair, I use three different products from their line: the five minute hair repair for blondes, the miracle leave-in for blondes and the miracle oil plus keratin. Let’s talk about which each one does:
The five minute hair repair for Blondes is a really quick deep conditioner that I throw in after shampooing and comb through (with my favorite wet brush, of course) and let sit while I wash my face and shave my legs. It’s really quick, takes the place of another conditioner, except that this one is helping to repair damaged hair, corrects brassy blonde tones (a must for all processed blondes!) and also helps to stop the breaking process with it’s deep moisturizing. Also, not to mention, makes my hair incredibly silky right out of the shower. Bonus: smells great.
Right after the shower, I pat my hair dry with a light cotton tee (far less harsh than a towel!) and spray (liberally!) the miracle leave-in for Blondes from root to ends, but mostly on the ends. It helps to detangle, seals hair at the cuticle, adds thermal protection for when you blow dry or use any hot tools after and, for blondes, helps enhance the brilliance of your color by reducing fading. It also adds a protein to the end of your hair to keep the ends strong and adds a UV protection to keep your hair from getting sun damage- I bet that’s something you’ve never even thought about. All these things work together to create healthy, strong hair. Exactly what we are all looking for.I just ran out of my bottle (after 5 months!) and am running to the store before my next wash to pick up another one. This is a product I can no longer live without!
And lastly, right before styling, I distribute a tiny amount of the miracle oil throughout the hair. It’s lightweight, not at all greasy, and the Keratin inside helps to restore any lost moisture to dry or brittle hair by infusing it with the same natural proteins that your make up your hair already. You can also use this on the ends of your hair when it’s dry, just to add some shine. I love this product.
The combination of these three products has changed the course of my hair. The it’s a 10 line has a full line of excellent products (I also love their hairspray!) and aren’t just specific for blondes, so you have to check them out and find the best products for your hair type, but they have forever changed my hair and I know that you’ll also benefit from adding 2-3 of their products into your routine as well!
If I can help you figure out which products are best, or answer any questions, let me know! I am seriously grateful for this line and what it’s done for my hair and I want you to feel the same!
